I dont know what it is about food art, but I love it so! Still Life in general is ones of my favorite genres, and Fruits and vegetables are to me some of the most beautiful things in the world--the colors, the textures, the translucency... you know what I mean? I also like pictures of ingredients, like you see done in photo shoots for cookbooks and cooking magazines and the like. This photo series by Maren Caruso is exactly what Im talking about! I especially like the start-to-finish deconstruction shots of ice cream cone, ketchup, etc. Maybe its partly because I havent eaten anything all day, but these look so good to me right now!
