when I first saw the work of graphic artist Siggi Eggertsson (now thats a great name!) I thought of what amazing quilts they would make. So I wasnt surprised to find that hed actually experimented with patchwork quilting before, while completing a graphic arts degree in his native iceland. The pictures you see here were created for Landsbankinn, an icelandic financial company, from what I can tell from the google-translated website, and in fact, Eggertsson has had a lot of commercial success due to his exposure in various magazines and advertisements.
