How sweet are these Once Upon a Time food-and-paper-cut dioramas, by french food designer Emile de Griottes (who was also responsible for these Pantone Tarts back in the spring) for... some other french magazine I dont know about? I wish I knew more about what this project was for, or all about. But I love it! The dioramas are truly evocative of their respective stories, and the little details are so sweet: the crocodile swimming the river thames, for example, or that whipped-cream crest of a wave. I never thought of using meringue, cream, and icing with paper, but all the media seems to work very well together. Doesnt it seem like such a fun job to have? Jealous.
