outer-space-outer-wear

Speaking of winter... this is around the time of year that I start thinking about cold-weather accessories--namely, scarves. Obviously, a snood (in the modern sense) is your best bet: theyre easy to wear, oh so cozy, and can double as a hood if you need one, which you probably will at some point. Usually I like mine in a chunky woolen knit, but Im currently enamored of these jersey ones from ShadowplayNYC. Their circle scarves (plus skirts, tights and tunics) feature images taken by real telescopes of actual galaxies and nebulae. At $75 a piece (thats just under £50) theyre more than a little out of my price range, but the colorful and magical prints might just make them worth it. If only they made bedding, too... can you even imagine?
