Obviously, the simplest way to access the spirit of a color is to wear it, but in my opinion all colors look their very best as translucent glass. Take, for example, these beautiful, bubble-like blown-glass trees. Collectively entitled The Woods, they were created as a collaboration between Norwegian design studios StokkeAustad and Andreas Engesvik, for Stockholm Design Week, all the way back in February. The sculpture sets are comprised of seven trees, divided into two clusters, and come in two different color-ways, one for spring and one for fall. Obviously, Im in the mood for the varied greens of the spring trees, but the autumnal greys and pinks are equally delightful. I want these! So pretty they would look in a sunlit window sill! My sunlit window sill, in particular.
