for the mermaid

This little brass shell ring is an adorably affordable gift any mermaid would love! Available for $25 at Proteales, an etsy shop featuring plenty of sweet and charming charms--many of which are nautical!

As Ive said before, pouches are extremely handy--and these conveniently tablet-sized clutches are so cool and beachy. $60 each at Samudra (the Tahiti Reef is my fav!)

This elegantly embossed set of gold foil Starfish Notecards ($24 for six cards and six envelopes) is the perfect thing for all of her over-seas correspondence (sorry...)

How lovely this beach body oil smells! And what a pretty, oyster-pinky color! For $30, its something she probably wont buy herself, but will certainly appreciate. Treat Her Self!

the perfect mermaid ensemble. And now I promise not to mention that fucking top ever ever again.
(striped top & sequin skirt, $58 each)
Ah, le sigh.

Love the packaging of this Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap--$5.95 at CB2

Let me tell you about this crazy thing. Its a $105 Japanese Bath Planetarium. You heard me! It floats in the bath and projects one of three light-scapes--starry sky, rose bath, or deep ocean--either onto the walls around you, or, when flipped upside-down, into the bath itself. Plus I assume it works out of water, too. Pretty ridiculous. But so magical! (A baby mermaid would surely love it, too!)

Trust me when I say that these lovely pink-pearl drop earrings will make her christmas dreams come true! But if you cant quite swing the $220 price tag, these tiny pink pearl studs are a sweet, affordable (and arguably more wearable) alternative.

Forget The Little Mermaid. This movie is everything. And one of my very favorites of all time! Available on amazon for just under $12 (plus free shipping!).

tomorrow: gifts for the city boy

ps: some mermaid pinspiration
