for the nomad

Fresh, light, and slightly woody, Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana is the most wearable and non-offensive-to-fellow-traveller fragrance in the world (and my personal favorite). This baby travel-size is super convenient, airplane-approved--and only $25!

What could be more useful than one of these delightfully unisex striped zipper cases? Personalized gifts are always so thoughtful, but at $7-$10,  these are also totally affordable--you could get the whole set! If you wanted to!

She'll look like the modern incarnation of a jet-setting Jackie O in these oversized round tortoise-shell sunglasses--and who doesnt want that? Get them for a mere $21.11 at asos, or choose from dozens of others!

These cute, colorful keychain pouches are so so handy, and a great way to ensure you dont forget your wallet--a perpetual problem of mine. At under $20 each, theyd make a fancy stocking stuffer, too!

Equally handy: these mirror-backed iphone cases, $9.99 each on etsy. Because she needs a case for the iphone she probably has... and often times, she needs a mirror, too.

When travelling, its a good idea to have a good-luck charm of some kind, and this dreamy, precious amethyst pendant has it all. Look to illuminance jewelry for all your fancifully affordable baubles--this necklace is only $38 (and travels a little better than their rings, I would imagine).

Also magical and arguably more useful--though regrettably, and considerably, more expensive--these $75 eternity scarves, by shadowplaynyc are printed with real images from outerspace! I usually just knit my own snoods, but if you cant knit, or feel like splashing out, these scarves are perfect thing. So cozy!

Keeping a foldable tote like this one in your bag is such a good idea. You can use it as a shopping bag, for dirty clothes--anything! And maybe Im way off, but Im pretty sure everyone likes things with their initial on it. Find them in every letter of the alphabet, or with other phrases and symbols, in various colorways, for under $20 each at alphabetbags

If you really want to splash out, and make all their christmas dreams come true, consider the kilo: a glow-in-the-dark fixed gear bicycle, from $399 at purefix cycles. Can you even imagine!?

Sequel to Gypset StyleGypset Travel, by Julia Chaplin, is the newest hottest must-read for stylish nomads everywhere. Available for $27.85 on Amazon.
